Baby Silas is survived by his mother, Meghon Van Norman of Yankton, South Dakota; father, Eric Ling of Brewster, Minnesota; maternal grandparents, Teresa and Bruce Burns of Heron Lake, Minnesota; great-grandfather, Robert Palm of Heron Lake, Minnesot; great-grandmother, Marilyn Burns of Heron Lake, Minnesota several aunts, uncles and other relatives.
