| | | Betty Louise Lohse was born July 13, 1927, to George and Alvena Alice (Brensel) Lohse in Fox Lake, Martin County, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome, Minnesota. Betty received her education in District #22B in Fox Lake, Minnesota and later was a 1945 Graduate of Welcome High School. After her graduation she was employed as a nurses aid at the Fairmont Community Hospital. On June 27, 1948 she was united in marriage to Richard C. Kramer at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome, Minnesota. After their marriage they made their home in Trimont. Betty was employed at F.M. Temple Mercantile for a short time then as a nurses aid at the Trimont Community Hospital. For the past forty years she has assisted her husband and later her husband and their son in the management of Kramer Family Funeral Homes, retiring in 2003. Betty was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and at one time taught Vacation Bible School. She was a Life member of the Trimont Nursing Home Auxiliary and a Life member of the Trimont American Legion Auxiliary. She was a Sponsor of a child with the World Vision Program.
Betty died on Monday afternoon, October 3, 2005 at the Trimont Health Care Center in Trimont, Minnesota at the age of seventy-eight years.

Her husband, Richard “Dick” Kramer of Trimont, Minnesota; sons, Steven Kramer of Garland, Texas and Thomas “Tom” Kramer and his wife, Laura, of Trimont, Minnesota; four grandchildren; Nytasha and Shawn Kramer of Garland, Texas, Martin and Robert Kramer of Trimont, Minnesota; one great granddaughter, Amzie Jewels Kramer of Garland, Texas; four brothers, Donald Lohse of Waseca, Minnesota, Merle Lohse and his wife, Donna, of Mankato, Minnesota, Bruce Lohse and his wife, Sandie, of Rochester, Minnesota, Dale Lohse and his wife, Barbara, of Fairmont, Minnesota; three sisters, Virginia Cosmillo and her husband, Edward of Shawnee, Kansas, Doris Stokes and her husband, Ronald, of Frontenac, Minnesota and Helen Klenz and her husband, Dennis, of Leander, Texas; sister-in-law, Kathryn Detert and her husband, Harold, of Ceylon, Minnesota; many nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Thelma Lohse and other relatives.
