Donald J. Joswick, age 76, of Omro, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Don was born on November 29, 1934, the son of John and Anna (Bluma) Joswick. On June 28, 1958, he married Marjory “Margie” Johnson. Together Don and Margie had three children, Dale, Diane, and Daniel.

Don retired from Wisconsin Bell after 42 years of service. He was a veteran, having proudly served in the United States Army. Don was a member of 40-8, a member of the Daugherty Hamilton American Legion Post 234, and a member of the Omro-Oshkosh Honor Guard. Don will be best remembered for being a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, as well as an avid hunter and fisherman.

Don is survived by his wife, Margie; sons, Dale, of Milwaukee and Daniel, of West Bend; daughter, Diane (John) Pounder of Delavan, and their children, Andrea, Gregory, Bradley, Bryan, and Stephanie. Don is further survived by sisters, Rita Gause, Elaine (Maynard) Wedell, Jane (Richard) Heuberger, Dorothy Schweder, and Judy (Robert) Russell; one brother, Jack Joswick; sisters in law, Irene Joswick and Patti Joswick; numerous relatives and friends. Don was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Selissen; four brothers, Leander, Ray, James and Richard Joswick; two sisters in law, Edith Joswick and Patricia Joswick; two brothers in law, Joe Selissen and Leonard Gause.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Noon on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, W204 N11940 Goldendale Road, Germantown, Wisconsin. Don’s family will greet friends and family members at a visitation from 9:30 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. at the church. Burial will take place at the St. Boniface Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
