| | | Dale A. Leetch, age 63, of Omro, died Sunday afternoon, February 8, 2009, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI. surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 9, 1945, the son of Donald W. and Imogene P. (Regner) Leetch. Dale graduated from Omro High School in 1963. Dale was a Police Officer for the City of Omro from 1976 until 1987. He then worked as a security guard at Oshkosh Truck until his retirement. He gave time as a volunteer hunter safety instructor for 25 years.
Dale is survived by his wife, Diana; children, Angie (Joe) Schuster, Toni Babcock and Todd (Connie) Arthur; grandchildren, Jared, Jordan, Jonah, Riley, Morgan, and Apryle; his father, Donald (Jean)Leetch; sister, Karolyn (John) Koch; brother, Duane (Linda) Leetch; nieces, Kelly and Danielle; nephews, Keith, Kevin, Kendal and Nick; sister in law, Marcia Ann (Phil) Gilbank; other relatives and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Imogene Leetch.
In respect to Dale’s memory, the family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 12, 2009, from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Richard Bartholomew officiating. Burial will be on February 13, 2009, in the Omro Cemetery at 11:00A.M., please meet at the funeral home at 10:45. A memorial in his name is being established.
