Donald Byron Schuster, age 84, of Omro, died peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side on Monday morning, December 12, 2011. Don was born April 5, 1927, in Waukau, the son of Joseph and Lucy (Washburn) Schuster. He attended and graduated from Omro High School in 1946. Don honored his country by serving in the Army in Italy during WW II. He married the former Elizabeth “Betty” Fiegel on October 29, 1949, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Omro. Because of illness, he retired in 2002. He was a member of St. Mary Parish, a lifetime member of the Berlin V.F.W. and a member of the Omro American Legion. He will always be remembered by his family as a generous, caring and loving man who possessed the ability to fix anything.
