Todd Alan Bryant, age 43, formerly of Chadwick, Illinois passed away surrounded by his family and friends on August 13, 2009 following a two-year battle with cancer. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mount Carroll, Illinois with a Remembrance Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., following the gathering at the funeral home. Pastor Rick Koch of the Dutchtown Church of the Brethren, rural Milledgeville, Illinois will officiate. Todd was born on July 27, 1966, the son of Tom and Doris (Saunders) Bryant in Sterling, Illinois. He graduated from the Chadwick High School, with the Class of 1984. Todd joined the Mt. Morris Fire Department, Mt. Morris, Illinois and began his career path towards becoming a Paramedic. Along with on the job training he attended courses at Rockford hospitals. In 1996, Todd moved to Marana, Arizona where he joined the Marana Fire Department. He also worked for LifeNet Aeromedical Service as a Paramedic and eventually for AirEvac Service in Phoenix, Arizona. Most important to Todd was his loving wife, Julie and three cherished children, Adam, Megan and Zachary. Todd will be dearly missed by his wife and children; his parents, Tom and Doris Bryant of Chadwick; sisters, Jeanette (Jeff) Baughman of Campbellsport, Wisconsin and Jennifer (Todd) Brubaker of Milledgeville, Illinois; two brothers, Tom (Missy) Bryant and Ted (Becky) Bryant, all of Chadwick; numerous Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Todd was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Margaurite and Herbert Saunders; paternal grandparents, Joe and Sadie Bryant and one brother, Bruce Bryant.
