We spend much of our lives striving toward a time when we can enjoy peace of mind. Careful, sensible planning will help us achieve this goal. Among the many things of which you can plan, perhaps the most important are planning and funding your final arrangements before the need arises.
Planning a funeral in advance of need can be advantageous in many ways. First, it makes good financial sense. Price guarantees with same as cash options, 3, 5, and 10 year plans, or even flexible payment plans give you financial incentives to prearrange. Second, personal wishes can be expressed. Planning your funeral for loved ones with your ideas in mind can help make the ceremony more meaningful, and beneficial to grieving family members. Third, prearrangement eliminates many of the stressful decisions involved in making final arrangements for family members at the time of death, especially financial decisions.
Preferences can be discussed in advance, ideas shared, and difficult situations made easier by prearranging.
Mann-Hare Funeral Home has been assisting our community with this service for many years both at our facility and in your home. Your Pre-Planning Options include:
1. Make Arrangements for services and put it on file, allowing other means to pay for the funeral at the time of death. Prices continue to increase over time, however, if arrangements are not paid in advance.
2. Make Financial Arrangements in advance. Pre-Paying for the funeral freezes the cost at the price paid that day, saving money in the future. No additional costs will be added unless they had not been paid for in advance. Financial arrangements are handled for the surviving family. This leaves them only to take care of what is very important at a time of death; each other.
