Wallace Norton Bouse, son of the late Jesse Edward and Neva (Johnson) Bouse, was born April 25, 1942, on the farm in Major County, Oklahoma, and passed away suddenly October 8, 2004, at Woodward Regional Hospital in Woodward, Oklahoma, at the age of 62 years, 5 months, and 13 days.
After Norton graduated from Waynoka High School he went to auto mechanic?s school at Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Norma Jean Wooly in Woodward, Oklahoma. He lived all of his life in the Waynoka area where he farmed and ranched. He was well known as a ?Jack-of-all-Trades? and could fix or weld almost anything.
He really enjoyed hunting and fishing, rattlesnake hunting, and liked to make arrowheads.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Kay Bouse, and one brother, Gerald Bouse.
Norton is survived by one son, Stan Bouse of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; one daughter, Cindy Renee Bouse of South Dakota; one brother, Leslie Bouse of Woodward, Oklahoma; one sister, Nancy Slater and her husband, Charlie, of Wichita, Kansas; his special friend, Jeannie Miller of Woodward, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, Bobby Lee Hobbs of Arkansas, Crystal Hobbs of Woodward, Christine Hobbs of Louisiana, and Lane Wyatt Bouse and Levi Hunter Bouse, both of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2004, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. David Shaw and Rev. Jim Veal officiating. Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.
