| | | Buddy Carl (Cell) Bence, son of the late Buddy Carl Bence and Jonnie Kay (Bell) Williams, was born April 21, 1962, at Hayes, Kansas, and passed away November 18, 2006, at Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 44 years, 6 months, and 27 days.
After Buddy graduated from Waynoka High School, he attended Friends University in Wichita. He worked as a framer in the construction business.
Buddy attended the Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. He loved football, especially the Oklahoma Sooners.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Sammy Cell, Jr.; and one sister, Sandra Bounds.
Buddy is survived by one son, Cole Bence of Alva; one daughter, Felicia Davis of Midlothian, Virginia; and one sister, Candy Long and her husband, Duane, of Tulsa; one granddaughter, Ayden Davis; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 24, 2006, at the First Baptist Church with Reverend David Shaw officiating. Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka, LLC.
The casket will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and will remain closed at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Waynoka EMTs.
