| | | Funeral services for William “Bill” Franklin Brown will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009, at the Waynoka First Baptist Church with Rev. David Shaw officiating. Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka, LLC.
William Franklin Brown, son of the late Oder Ray and Leona Joyce (Cunningham) Brown, was born October 28, 1945, at Klamath Falls, Oregon, and passed away at Enid, Oklahoma, July 27, 2009, at the age of 63 years, 9 months, and 29 days.
Bill was raised and attended school at North Plains, Oregon. On September 8, 1969, he was united in marriage to Kathy Treece. To this union five children were born: Billy, Kevin, Tami, Jason, and Megan. Bill worked in the oilfield for many years and lived in Waynoka before moving to Enid in 2001.
Bill enjoyed carpentry and was a handyman who loved working with his hands. He was extremely mechanical and loved working on cars, mowers, or anything with an engine. Bill enjoyed his dogs, Moochie and Gizmo but especially loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Raylene King; and one grandson Jesse Brown.
Bill is survived by his children, Billy Brown and wife, Tambi, of Enid, Kevin Brown and wife, Sherry, of Enid, Tami Hess of Enid, Jason Brown and wife Kari, of Enid, and Megan Moulder and husband, Josh, of Woodward; three brothers, Donald Brown of Hillsboro, Oregon, Jackie Lee Brown and wife, Emily, of Jay, Oklahoma, and Jerry Brown of Forest Grove, Oregon.
Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren, Taggart, Brenli, and Taelyn Brown, Courtney , Kelsey, and Kylee Brown, Scotty, Sierra, and Kebra Brown, Gregory and Trustin Hess, Bryson and Keegan Brown, and Jaidyn and Jakobi Moulder; other relatives and friends. .
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
