| | | Graveside services for Eldon Dean Springer will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009, at the Aline Star Cemetery with Curtis Torrence officiating. Interment is under the direction of Wentworth Mortuary, LLC, of Carmen.
Eldon Dean Springer, son of the late LaValley and Annamae (Schlarb) Springer, was born November 14, 1957, at Alva, Oklahoma, and passed away August 18, 2009, at Stockton, California, at the age of 51 years, 9 months, and 4 days.
Eldon attended school at Dacoma and Carmen. On November 23, 1975, he was united in marriage to Judith Ann Reed at Aline, Oklahoma. He later married Diane Berg. He lived in the Aline area most of his life, but spent the last few years in Oregon and California. He worked as a butcher and in the oilfield. He enjoyed fishing and carpentry.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kassy Lennox; two brothers, Kenneth Springer and Keith Springer; and one sister, LaJeana Burne.
Eldon is survived by his children, Kathryn LeAnn Phillips and husband, Brian, of Woodward, Kyle Fargo and wife, Misty, of Woodward, and Kristopher Fargo of McAlester; two brothers, Rudy Springer of Oklahoma City and Tilford Springer and wife, LaDonna, of Aline; and one sister, LaVerne Ann Cushenbery and husband, Harold, of Alva.
Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, Amber Granger, Justin and Nickolas Phillips, Kylee, Caitlyn, Brooke, Sierra, and Brexton Fargo, Kristopher, Kristian, Andrew, and Chance Fargo.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home for funeral expenses.
