|Funeral services for Quinten Seaman will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, in Comanche Trail Church of Christ Chapel with Loran Harper, minister, officiating. Arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery in Waynoka, Oklahoma, with Bill David Walker, minister of Elm and Murrow Church of Christ, officiating. Local arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka, LLC. He will lie in state at Marshall Funeral Home Thursday, June 7, 2012, with a book available for signing from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
Quinten Lee "Hoot" Seaman was born June 30, 1935, in Avard, Oklahoma, to Arthur and Sylvia Duly Seaman and passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, in Amarillo at the age of 76. He married Nadene Bay on April 7, 1959, in Alva, Okla.
Quinten worked for Santa Fe Railroad for 21 years, where he was a conductor. He was a member of Comanche Trail Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Nadene Seaman; three daughters, Debra Crosley and husband, Alan, of Amarillo, Donna Childress and husband, Draton, of Wheeler and Denise Patrick of Campo, Colo.; two sons, Faron Seaman of Amarillo and Ferlin Seaman and wife, Susi, of Bushland; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, , P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX, 79174; and High Plains Children's Home, 11461 S. Western St., Amarillo, TX 79118-411.
