| | | Memorial services for Jason Ryan McKnight will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Trevor Thompson officiating.
Jason Ryan McKnight, son of Kathy Jeanette (McDaniel) Shores and Glenn David McKnight, was born August 8, 1974, and passed away June 11, 2012, at the age of 37 years, 10 months, and 3 days.
Jason attended school in Mesquite, Texas. For many years he was a self employed flooring contractor, laying carpet and tile in Dallas, Oklahoma City, Woodward and wherever his services were needed. Recently he lived in Alva where he worked as a roustabout in the oil field.
He was a very talented musician, playing the guitar, drums, and singing in several bands.
Jason is survived by two sons, Kelan and Kennedy, of Alva; his mother, Kathy Shores and husband, Rex of Alva, his father, Glenn McKnight and wife, Geneva, of Grand Prairie, Texas; one brother, Adam McKnight, of Orlando, Florida; his grandmother, Mary McDaniel of Mesquite, Texas; other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to help with funeral expenses or to his children.
