Obituary Notice
Marion R. Barry
Marion R. (Munson) Barry, age 84, of Central Avenue, Brocton, NY, formerly of South Portage St., Westfield, died Sunday, August 22, 2004 at Westfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 11, 1920 in Stockton, New York the daughter of the late Arlington and Edith (Darling) Munson.

A Westfield resident most all her adult life, she moved to the Herbert Star Apartments in Brocton in 2003. She had been employed by David Ross, Jim Hall and George McKewen tying and picking grapes for many years. She and her late husband had at one time been active in the Antique Steam Engine Assoc. of Chautauqua County. She had been a member of the former United Brethren of Dewittville and had been a former member of the Westfield Grange. She attended the Westfield YWCA Day program. She enjoyed Jigsaw Puzzles, Quilting, Hook Rugs and Cross Stitching and her Rose garden.
She enjoyed and cherished all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. .

Survivors include her 3 sons; Richard Barry of Andover, NY, Gene Barry of Westfield, NY, and James Barry of Brocton, NY,; her two daughters; Janet Cook of Greenville, PA, June Callari of Utica, NY, ; her 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Catherine Nickerson of Mayville, NY, and by her 2 brothers Ross Munson of Dewittville, NY, and Ray Munson of Westfield, NY.

She was preceded in death by her husband Garth E. Barry, who she married on July 12, 1946 in Mayville, NY and who died on October 3, 1989., and by her father, Arlington Munson, and her mother, Edith (Darling) Munson.

Visitation will be at MASON Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 26, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at the MASON Funeral Home. Rev. David Greene of the Dewittville-Hartfield United Methodist Church will be officiating.
Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in Panama.
