Kathryn Mary Lucas
Kathryn Mary Lucas, 52, of Clinton St., Westfield, NY, died Saturday, October 09, 2004 at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, Pennsylvania following a brief illness.
She was born January 30, 1952 in Dunkirk, New York the daughter of the late
Donald and Norma (Shearman) Lucas.
A Westfield resident since 1973, she was a graduate of South Side High School in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and attended College in Kansas City, KS to study Computers.
She had been employed for the past 31 years at Belknap Business Forms, Inc. of Mayville, most recently in the Pre Press Dept. She had also been employed by Calarco's Restaurant in Westfield. Kathy was a member of the John W. Rogers American Legion Post 327 Auxillary and the Wm. P. Jackway VFW Post 6764 Auxillary and well as a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 571 all of Westfield. She was an avid NASCAR Fan, especially Dale Jarrett's team. She enjoyed cooking and reading and loved her 20 nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her six sisters;
Sharon Seekings of Dunkirk, NY, Carol Weatherell of Salamanca, NY, Judy Pugh of Harland, IN, Peggy Lucas-Lepper of LaGrange, IN, Norma Fryback of Ft. Wayne, IN, Darlene Lucas of Ft. Wayne, IN, and her longtime friends and companion Tim Calarco of Westfield, NY, 20 nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Gene Lucas, and her mother, Norma Jane (Shearman) Lucas.
Visitation will be at MASON Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 PM
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 15, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at MASON Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Farney of Christ Chapel Wesleyan Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in Westfield.
