Debra S. Balsano
Debra Cherly (Sherman) Balsano, 49, of Kent Street, Westfield, NY, died Thursday, December 09, 2004 at Westfield Memorial Hospital in Westfield, New York.
She was born August 21, 1955 in Westfield, New York the daughter of the late Fred Sherman and Martha (Haskin) Sherman with whom she resided.
A Westfield area resident all her life, Debbie was a 1974 Graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School. She had attended St. James Major RC Church. She had been employed by Interlakes Federal Credit Union for 13 years, most recently as Director of Recovery and Payment Services.
She had also been employed by Sciarrino's New Room in Westfield, Lakeshore Employee Testing of Fredonia as Sales and Marketing Manager, State Farm Insurance of Westfield and Erie, PA as a Bank Specialist and was a well known area Notary Public. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #517 of Westfield. She enjoyed playing Darts, reading, walking, dancing and music, the Buffalo Bills and the Cleveland Browns, and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for her great sence of humor. However, he main love was her family .
Survivors include; her daughter
Brooke A. Balsano of Blasdell, NY, her mother, Martha (Haskin) Sherman of Westfield, NY, her 2 brothers; Kevin C. Sherman of Westfield, NY, Brian C. and his wife Shelley Sherman of North East, PA, 4 nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred John Sherman.
Visitation will be at MASON Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 13, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at St. James Major RC Church. Fr. Daniel Young of St. James Major RC Church will be officiating. Private family Burial will be in the Westfield Cemetery in Westfield.
