Harry B. Judkins
Harry B. Judkins, 93, of Burr Road, Brocton, NY, formerly of Rew, PA, died Saturday, December 18, 2004 at Westfield Memorial Hospital in Westfield, New York following a brief illness.
He was born November 12, 1911 in Westford, New York the son of the late William and Netta (Southworth) Judkins.
A Brocton area resident since 1985 he and his wife moved here from Rew, PA to be with their daughter. He had been a Welder for Dresser Rand Corp. in Bradford, PA for many years retiring in 1973. He was a Charter Member of the Rew Vol. Fire Dept. in Rew, PA. He was an avid hunter and was a well known trapper in the trapping world. He was known for his trapping business where he made and sold traps and trap parts as well a trap lure and trapping supplies. He had been published in several trapping magazines. He had been a member of the Bradford Rifle Club and enjoyed target shooting. He had been very active in the Brocton / Portland Sr. Citizens organization.
He served in the Army during World War II attaining the rank of private.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Adele (Burgess) Judkins, His daughter, Ruth Anne Delcamp of Brocton, NY, and Several Grandchildren and Several great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Judkins, and his mother, Netta (Southworth) Judkins, his son Jim Judkins , his two brothers Lee Judkins and Ralph Judkins , and by his 2 sisters, Lula Silvernail and Emma Rifenberg.
Visitation will not be observed. Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
