Victoria M. Miller
Victoria M. (Moch) Miller, 74, of East 7th Street, Dunkirk, NY, died Saturday, December 25, 2004 at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, New York.
She was born April 01, 1930 in Dunkirk, New York the daughter of the late Stanley and Katherine (Skoczlas) Moch.
A Dunkirk area resident most all her life, she was a graduate of Dunkirk Schools and Rochester Intitute Of Technology (RIT) with a degree in business. She had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Dunkirk Garden Club and the Alpha Beta Phi Sorority. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, antiques, refinishing and upholstering furniture, cooking and knitting. In her younger years she had been avtive in several civic and community affairs. However, she mostly enjoyed and loved her family.
Survivors include her son, Richard Miler of Hollywood, CA, her three daughters; Daune Jaynes of Berea, OH, CPO Diane Zappa, USN of San Diego, CA, and Rebecca Miller of Dunkirk, NY, her 8 grandchildrenand 1 great grandson. Her four sisters; Helen Syzmanowicz of Dunkirk, NY, Blanche Struve of Fredonia, NY, Esther Krzakala of Dunkirk, NY, Dorothy Carlson of Dunkirk, NY, and her 2 brothers; Robert Moch of Tyler, TX, Edward Moch of Shelton, CT.
She was preceded in death by her husband William, her father, Stanley Moch, and her mother, Katherine (Skoczylas) Moch, her brother Joseph Mochand her sister Jennie Lanphere, as well as by two infant siblings.
Visitation will not be observed.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend the Funeral Services to be held Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the Graveside in Westfield Cemetery. Fr. Daniel Young of St. James Major RC Church will be officiating. A time of reunion and refreshment will foillow at the White Inn in Fredonia, NY.
