Cecile B. Simmes Cochrane



Cecile B. Simmes Cochrane, age 86, of West Main St., Westfield, NY, died Sunday, July 03, 2005 at The Waters of Westfield SNF in Westfield, New York.

She was born May 04, 1919 in North Harmony, New York the daughter of the late George and Mary Ette (Seaborn) Bohall.

A Westfield resident most all her life, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Society of Westfield where she was very active on the Board of Deacons and other Church activities. She had been a member of the Westfield Sr. Citizen's Club and had also been a Member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #517. A former member of the Home Bureau of Chautauqua County.
She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, antiques, and making her home a comfortable place for her family.

Survivors include her daughter
Margaret "Peggy" Young of Buffalo, NY, her two sons; James A. and his wife Ann Simmes of Orlando, FL, and Jerry W. Simmes of Columbus, OH,
Also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren as well as her sister Katherine "Kathy" Lane of Celeron, NY

She was preceded in death by her father, George P Bohall, and her mother, Mary Ette (Seaborn) Bohall, Harold James Simmes (1st Husband), William Cochrane (2nd Husband), her sister Beatrice Zenns and her brother Clifford Bohall.

Visitation will be at MASON Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 PM

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 8, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church and Society of Westfield. Rev. Dr. Arthur D. Webster of First Presbyterian Church and Society of will be officiating.
Private Burial will be in the Westfield Cemetery in Westfield.
