WESTFIELD - Rex C. Rogers, age 90, of Brewer Place, Westfield died Wednesday,
November 9, 2005 at WCA Hospital, Jamestown following a brief illness..

Rex was born on July 7, 1915 in Cranesville, PA the son of the late Charles Myrtle Rogers.
.

He had been employed by former Nickel Plate Rail Road as an Agent for over 30 years retiring in 1974. He then was employed by the Chautauqua County Office for the Aged where he supervised the revitalization of homes for the elderly and handicapped. An avid wood worker he enjoyed building and refinishing furniture and refurbishing antiques. He enjoyed spending time at his hunting camp in Forest County, PA.
Rex was a longtime Cleveland Indians fan. His greatest love was his family.
Mr. Rogers was a member of The First Presbyterian Church And Society Of Westfield and was a 50 year member of Summit Lodge #219 F. & AM of Westfield where he served in most all capacities and was Past Grand Master. Active in Masonry, he was a member of the Lodge, Council, Chapter and Consistory of the Scottish Rite Valley of Jamestown and was a member of Ismalia Shrine Temple AAONMS of Buffalo.

He is survived by three daughters: Myrt Peterson of Bemus Point, NY, Linda McMahon of Baldwinsville, NY, Janet Dickenson of Bemus Point, NY and one son: Gerry Rogers of Westfield, NY. 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren also survive.
Predeceased by his wife, June B. (Sebring) Rogers, who died on February 3, 2003 and by her granddaughter, Amy Peterson, who died in 1977

Calling hours will be Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 at First Presbyterian Church And Society Of Westfield, 49 So. Portage St., Westfield with Rev. Dr. Arthur Webster officiating.
Burial will be in Westfield Cemetery.
