WESTFIELD-Courtney J. 'Court' Cameron, age 87, of Shore Drive, Westfield died Sunday, February 19, 2006 at Westfield Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Cameron was born September 17, 1918 at Westfield, NY the son of the late Kenneth and Virginia (Brooks) Cameron.

Mr. Cameron was a graduate of Cornell University, class of 1941, where he majored in bacteriology. He was employed for many years in the dairy industry in New York State, including a 30 year managerial career with the former Interstate Creamery in Buffalo. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed horse racing. He was also an accomplished gardener, with a well earned reputation for a “green-thumb”. During the summers he greatly enjoyed the frequent visits of his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all of whom he was very fond of. In his later years, he enjoyed reminiscing about the Westfield of his childhood and youth during the 1920´s and 30´s. His intellect remained lively, and he had a wealth of knowledge on the subject. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Society of Westfield, where he had been baptized, and where, even in his last years, he would recall fond memories of attending Sunday School as a child.
Survivors include his son: Courtney J. “Joe” and his wife Susan Cameron, Jr. of Olean, NY

His brother Norris and his wife Jean Cameron of Alpharetta, GA
His grandson, William (Gillian) Cameron of Lockport, NY; his granddaughter, Holly (Bryan) Curtis of Rochester, NY; as well as his three great grandchildren; Chase, Tyler and Jenna.
Predeceased by his wife, Jane (Allison) Cameron, who he married on April 11, 1942 in Stony Point, NY and who died on June 7, 2000, and his two daughters Kimberlie and Deborah Cameron, as well as by his five brothers, Donald, David, Garret, Stuart and Gordon Cameron.

Friends may call at The MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY. on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of services there at 1 PM with Rev. Dr. Arthur Webster officiating.
Private burial will be in Westfield Cemetery.
