WESTFIELD- Rev. Chadwick A. Weaver, age 87, of Academy Street, Westfield died Thursday, March 9, 2006 at Chautauqua County Home and Infirmary, Dunkirk, NY.

Rev. Weaver was born on May 14, 1918 in Birch Tree, MO the son of the late Samuel H. and Evelyn E. (Barnts) Weaver.

A Resident of Westfield for the past 14 years he moved here from Port Jervis, NY. He had been a Minister in the NY district of The Assemblies of God for many years. He was Ordained in October of 1941 in the Southern Missouri District . He was a graduate of Missouri State University with a BA in Teaching and received his Doctorate of Sacred Theology in June of 1972 from the University of Eastern Florida. He had been active in the Sectional Offices of the Church and active in the many Ministerial Associations of the Communities he served.
He loved gardening and reading and traveling. A pet owner, he loved animals.
Rev. Weaver was a member of Lakeshore Assembly Of God in Westfield
and was affiliated with theGeneral Council Assemblies of God, New York District.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Mattie Christine (Lewis) Weaver, who he married on Feb.14,1941 in Koshkonong, MO, and by his daughter: Karen W. (Frank) Prelewicz of Westfield, NY and two sons: Ronald D. (Mary) Weaver of Bullhead City, AZ, and Rev. Kenneth D. (Esther) Weaver of Massilon, OH. He is also survived by his two sisters: Marjetta Murphy and Dorothy (Richard) Gould and his brother: Floyd (Velma) Weaver all of Mountain View, MO. Rev. Weaver is also surviced by 9 Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his by his brother, George Weaver and his sister Marie Tranbarger

Friends may call at MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY, on Sunday afternoon from 4 – 6 PM and are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday at 11:00 AM at The Lakeshore Assembly Of God, 252 East Main Street, Westfield with Rev. Stanley Thurber officiating.
Private burial will be in Union Cemetery.
