WESTFIELD-Josephine L. (LoDico) Sam, age 81, of East Main Road, Westfield died Friday, March 17, 2006 at Westfield Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Sam was born November 14, 1924 in Fredonia, NY the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (Gazzetta) LoDico. A Westfield resident since 1985, she moved here from Fredonia. She had been employed by A. Sam and Sons, Inc., and Appian Way Pizza Co., however, was mostly a home maker who loved her family. She enjoyed knitting. She is survived by one daughter: Patricia M Sam and three sons: Norman C. Sam of Austintown, OH, Albert C. Sam of Westfield, NY, Peter C. Sam of Silver Creek, NY, as well as by her sister: Rose Zoda of Hamburg, NY. 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald C. Sam, her 3 brothers, Charles, Sam and Ben LoDico, and by her 2 sisters, Mary Nasca and Frances LeGrano. Funeral Services and burial will be held privately and at the convenience of her family, with her nephew, Fr. Abouid Sam, officiating. Memorials may be made to NorthLake Family Recreation Center, PO 334, Westfield, NY 14787 Funeral arrangements are by the MASON FUNERAL HOME, Westfield.
