| Brenda Joyce Ferrell, 64, of Clendenin died in a single car accident on Saturday May 28, 2011.
She was born April 9, 1947, in Charleston, to Clarence and Silvia Merle Hays. She married Jesse Ferrell Jr., August 16, 1965 and was a homemaker and mother of three. She is also preceded in death by her mother; son, William Boyd Ferrell; brother, Harry M. Hays. She is survived by: husband, Jesse E. Ferrell Jr.; father, Clarence Ray “Red” Hays of Clendenin; son, Mark Edward Ferrell (Tracy) of Princeton IL; daughter Kristi Michele Ferrell of Flemingsburg, KY; brothers, Clarence R. Hays Jr. (Cathy)of Gandeeville, WV and Donald Hays (Anita) of Clendenin, WV; granddaughters , Brook Ferrell of Clay and and Linden Quinn of IL. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday June 2, 2011 at Matics Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Larue officiating. Burial will be in the Hays/Ferrell Cemetery, Clendenin.
