| Sammy Ray Boggs, 62, of Clendenin, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at home surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noval Ray Boggs, Nell Jean and Oliver Smith; son, Matthew Ray Oliver Boggs; and brother, Dave Smith. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Faye Boggs; sons, Samuel Boggs and wife Vicki, of Clendenin, Todd Boggs and wife Sarah, of Amma; brothers, Shane Boggs and wife Donna, of Summersville, Mike Boggs and wife Cathy, of Clendenin, Rocky Boggs and wife Sharon, of Valley Fork, Michael Smith and wife Carrie, of LA, Eddie Smith and wife Sandy, of Camp Creek; grandchildren, Ripley, Blake and Adrianne Autumn. He had many cousins, nieces and nephews. Sammy’s funeral service will be 1 pm Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Matics Funeral Home in Clendenin with Brother Richard Talbot officiating.
