Mary was born in Crowley, La to the late Dewey & Ethel Vincent Benoit on December 4, 1931. She was a resident of Lake Arthur, but resided in Klondike for many years. She was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother. Mary was a very kind and compassionate person. She would often pray the rosary for the sick and needy. She also showed her love and kindness by taking care of stray animals that were hungry and in need of care. Mary has touched the lives of many people and animals big and small and will be greatly missed.

Leaving behind to cherish her memory are her beloved son, Ira Vincent and his wife Sherry of Dulac, La; four brothers, Patrick Vincent of Dallas, TX, Charles Benoit of Mermentau, Jimmie Benoit of Lake Arthur, and Daniel Benoit of Houston, TX; three sisters, Betty Bourque of Crowley, Ella Benoit of Jennings, and Barbara Benoit of Carcencro; and her three beautiful grandchildren, Jarrod Vincent, Kamela Royer, and Marlene Rodriquez and five great grandchildren.
