|Gosh, it was hard reading this [Jimmie's obit] - we loved the whole Fullilove clan as our neighbors and best friends in Yazoo City, and especially Tommy and Jimmy.
Tommy, Kenny, all of you, our deepest and loving sympathy, and our sure gratitude to God, for his having Jimmie now to direct his band and choir of Angels, including his Momma, Daddy, Willis, Sue and Ann. |

|Kevin and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I can't imagine my world without the music that Mr. Fullilove introduced to us. He was a great teacher, great leader, wonderful role model, wonderful musician. I can still see and hear him playing the solo in "String of Pearls" when I was in stage band. So many of my cherished high school memories revolved around band. Thank you for sharing him with so many of us for so many years.
God bless you all.

|Afer all these years, I still vividly see Mr. Fullilove teaching us music in the band room. He was a strong example in my earlier years of dedication to your profession. I feel the values he taught are still with me today. He was a very good man!|

|When I think of Mr Fullilove I can't help be be nostalgic. I think back to all of the wonderful times we had being a part of the WHS band. But more than that, I think of the love of music that was instilled in me by him. He was a wonderful man and had a truly great gift that he shared with so many youn people over the years. Years later when I would run into him, we would talk about the old days. I am so grateful that I was a part of his life. He will be missed by many.|

|Mrs. Fullilove, Skip, Dawn, Cindy, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Mr. Fullilove touched so many lives, and I am one of them. His faith was evident in everything he did, and because of that faith I know he is now in the presence of Christ. May the peace of Christ be with each of you till you meet again. |

|I was very blessed to have been Jimmies nurse. Although I had the title, Mrs. Fullilove was the most efficient loving wife and nurse Mr Jimmie could have had. I will always remember his band stories, his selfless ability to say "I'm sorry" way too many times, and his famous saying "I Love You." He will be greatly missed and always remembered. Love and prayers to the Fullilove family. Love you Mrs. Tommy.|

|Dawn and Family,
I'll keep you all in my prayers at this time. You and your family blessed so many others. I know the community of Welsh was blessed by all of you. I wasn't fortunate enough to have had your dad as a teacher, but did know him as a kind and gracious person, who put God and his family first. May God hold you in His L.O.V.E.ing arms. |All the Fullilove Family, there are so VERY many people who have been touched by the love and the talents of Mr. Fullilove. My daddy was a HUGE fan! Mr. Fullilove had an incredible gift for music, and for relating to people. He's made ripples of blessings that still go out farther than he may have realized.
I am sorry for your loss and praying you feel God hugging you even tighter these days.
With much love!|

|Tommye, Skip, Dawn and Cheryl: Good intentions will never make up for the fact that I have not seen you or Mr. Fullilove in so many years.
He was a huge factor in my life, making it possible for me to be a part of the National FFA Band in Kansas City in 1961 and to have a music scholarship financially help me through graduation at NSU. While I knew Skip, Dawn and Cheryl only as youngsters, it was Tommye who stole my heart. Always the beautiful, funny, helpful, right arm of Jimmie during the many concerts and football games. I shall be in Jennings Tuesday and look forward to seeing all of you again. Meanwhile you are in my thoughts and prayers. |

|To Skip and family. I know this is a big loss for you and the family, it is also a loss to the 100's of students he taught music too and care so much about. I was lucky enough to be one of those.
