Gueydan: Funeral services will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Gueydan, LA on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 @ 11 AM honoring the life of Blayne Dale Faulk, age 54 of Gueydan, who was called from this life May 13, 2012. Blayne will be laid to rest in the Gueydan Cemetery where he will be honored with full military rites. Blayne Dale Faulk was born on June 16, 1957 in Morgan City, LA to the late Willis Faulk and the late Velva Guidry Faulk. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. Following his military service, Blayne worked as a welder. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and doing carpentry work. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Blayne is survived by his beloved wife, Monika Faulk of Gueydan; his three sons, Nakia Franice Faulk (Erica) of Abbeville, Jeremy Dale Faulk of Gueydan, and Eric James Faulk of Crowley; one daughter, Angela Faulk Boehm (Kurt) of Lafayette; and his nine beautiful grandchildren. Blayne also leaves behind to cherish his memory his five brothers, Norman Guidry of Baton Rouge, Danny Faulk of Gueydan, Donald Faulk also of Gueydan, Myron Faulk of Cow Island, and Lee Faulk of Kaplan and his two sisters, Mary Ellen Faulk of Morgan City and Myna Faye Hernandez of Rayne. Visitation will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Gueydan on Tuesday, May 15th from 4 PM until the time of his funeral service on Wednesday. | ||
