Murleen was a resident of Westlake. She was born on September 12,1936 to the late Sandrus Richard and the late Allie Trahan Richard. Murleen was retired from the Westlake Library as a Librarian. She was a wonderful loving person who loved everyone she met. Murleen is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Billy Lee Aucoin of Westlake, La.; three daughters, Pat Pontiff (husband Craig), Becky Crawford (husband Richard) and Dee Bennett (fiancee’ Ronnie Vallery) all of Sulphur, La.; three brothers: Reed Richard (Lorene) of Katie, TX., Larrell “Jimmy” Richard (Linda) of Lafayette, La., and Gerald Richard (Theresa) of Westlake, La.; two sisters: Jean Lawless of Jennings, La. and Barbara Chaisson (Donald) of Pine Island, La.; Seven Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Mrs. Murleen was preceded in death by her Parents and granddaughter Tasha Anne Aucoin.

Carrying Mrs. Aucoin to her eternal resting place will be her 7 grandsons: Ricky Crawford, Tommy Rogers, Stephen Almond, Alvin Crawford, Sam Rogers and Sean Daigle, and Clay Stroderd and one nephew Darrell Chaisson. Honorary pallbearer will be her granddaughter: Stephanie Stroderd.
