| James Carol Drake, 77, of Eastview, KY passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Drake was a 2 year active duty veteran of the Korean Campaign. He also spent 3 years in the National Guard & 3 years in the Army Reserve. He retired from Olin Chemical Plant, Brandenburg, KY after working there for 33 years. He was preceded in death by: His parents, Carl B. & Daisy Mae Drake; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; and a daughter, Carrol Ann Drake. Survivors include: His wife, Virginia A. Drake; 5 children, Rick Drake & his wife Karen of Vine Grove, KY, Charlie Drake & his wife Connie of Vine Grove, KY, Connie Leasor & her husband Larry of Radcliff, KY, Glen Drake & his wife Virgie of Vine Grove, KY, Gary Drake & his wife Tonya of Rineyville, KY; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010 from the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Brother Arnold Moon officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Brigid Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. | ||
