Vivian D. Anderson, 81, a resident of Kent, Washington and formerly of Davenport, Iowa passed from this world to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Washington.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Freedom Assembly, 4721 Northwest Blvd. in Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to the family for donations to her favorite charities. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was born October 26, 1926 in Golden, Illinois, the daughter of George & Hazel (Ferrell) Buss. On October 29, 1944, she was united in marriage to George Anderson in Camp Point, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2006.
For many years, Vivian was employed as a licensed realtor with the Esther Weiner Real Estate Agency in Davenport.
Her faith was the foundation of her life and she enjoyed being active in a variety of church activities over the years.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Gail (Dr. John) Bianco of Kent, Washington; her son, Dr. Gary (LaDonna) Anderson of Bettendorf; her grandchildren, Melissa (Nate) Clark, Dr. Derek (Sara) Anderson, Tony (Sandra) Bianco, Mario Bianco and Joey Bianco; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Bonnie Marshall of Bettendorf; and her close and special friend who provided so much love and assistance, Agnes Hanson.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Zelma Stoneking; and her brother, Merle Buss.
