I am so sorry for your loss. Ernie was a very special friend. We had fun collecting Jeff Gordon stuff together. I enjoyed working with him for almost 8 years. Ken and I always felt welcome in his home. I am out of town or I would be there. God bless you all. He was a very special man!!

Dear Debbie,
I happened to read your dad's obituary without realizing why it would be important to me. Such a special person to many in the community. We are back in the area, living on the Illinois banks of the Mississippi at Locks and Dam 14 in a condo. You are greatly missed, not only for your wonderful cleaning but also for your friendship. Know that I'm thinking about you and will keep you in our prayers. Feel free to contact me to catch up on your family through our e-mail address above. The Gordon family have been nothing but good to me. I consider the Gordons my second family. All that was good about Ernie must have rubbed off on his son's and daughter's, never a bad thing to say about anyone and always helpful when you needed help, not even having to ask. Good people on this planet are few and far between, and by the loss of Ernie, we will sorely be missing another. I have a people collection, and it is very hard to come to reality when I lose one of them. My deepest sympathy's go out to every member of the Gordon family, I'm sure they feel greater pain and sorrow, more than anyone could put down in words. My condolences to the Gordon family. | From: Dave 04/24/2008 01:33 AM
