The Memphis Funeral Home opened for business on October 11, 1989, located at 378 South Market Street or Business Route 136.  The beautiful old home was built in 1873 by J. W. Barnes, grandfather of the late Dorothy Platter Dierks of Memphis.
    The staff of Memphis Funeral Home consists of Ron Henkenius and Butch Priester, funeral directors and embalmers.  Grace Henkenius and Joe Fulk are funeral directors and Betty Bondurant,and Wilma June Kapfer are greeters.
