Betty Louise (Acree) Morris, age 79 passed away Thursday afternoon, August 27, 2009 at Westpark Healthcare Center in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis. Betty was born April 27, 1930 in Indianapolis to the late Jasper and Ella (Burris) Acree. She married Earl R. Morris on September 23, 1950 in Brownstown. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2003. Survivors include three sons: James R. (Judy) Guerra, Larry R. (Nancy) Morris and Dave L. (Bridgett) Morris all of Indianapolis; one sister: Margaret Daily of Seymour; one brother-in-law: James Daily of Crothersville; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandsons. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Bill Burris, Don & Joe Acree; one sister: Nancy Rider; two grandchildren. Betty was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of the True Gospel Assembly Church in Indianapolis. Betty enjoyed her flowers, gospel music, sewing and fishing. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. The Rev. Joe Bay will conduct a graveside service 1:00 pm Tuesday at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
