Santa Monica, CA- Valerie R. Norton, 53, formerly of Horshman, PA, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Kindred Respiratory Services in Los Angeles, CA.
Born January 11, 1956 in Abington, PA, Valerie was the daughter of Charles T. Norton and the late Stella (Jonescu) Norton.
She was a graduate of Hatboro Horshman High School. Valerie was a United States Army veteran, serving from 1974 until 1976 when she received an honorable discharge. Following her years of service, she remained a resident of California for thirty years.
She was predeceased by her mother who died in 1988.
Survivors include her father, Charles T. Norton of Hatfield, PA; 4 sisters: JoAnn Norton (Scott Robbins) of Middleburgh, Nancy Joy Toner of Ireland, Linda Norton of Hatfield, PA, and Beverly Boyette of Quakertown, PA; and a brother, Wayne Norton of Media, PA.
Services will be private with inurnment in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
