Cobleskill- Mrs. Elizabeth K. Smith, 84, passed away peacefully at the home of her son, on May 13, 2009, after a short illness.
Elizabeth was born on March 26, 1925, in Penn Yan, NY and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Rennie) Kirkpatrick. On July 3, 1944, she was united in marriage to Todd J. Smith, who predeceased her on August 19, 1989.
She was actively involved in the family business for over fifty years before her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Todd A. Smith (Mary Lou Garrett) of Cobleskill; her sister, Eleanor Affleck; a nephew, Thomas (Kate) Affleck and their son, Tommy; and a niece, Kathleen Affleck all of Canandaigua, NY.
Private services will be held at the family’s convenience.
