Summit- Nellie May Proctor, 86, of Rossman Fly Road, died Thursday, September 24, 2009 at her residence.
Born September 26, 1922 in Medusa, NY, she was the daughter of Harley and Florence (Warner) Schrom. Nellie was a resident of Schoharie County most of her life and at one time had been employed at the ACE Glove Factory in Richmondville.
She raised rabbits and adored her dog, Nikki. Nellie was a collector of stuffed animals.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Peter Stannard, and her second husband, Donald Proctor.
Survivors include her two sons: Tim Stannard of Summit and Mark Stannard of Monticello, KY; her brother, John West Schrom of Cobleskill, and nephew, Ken Schrom, Jr. of Central Bridge.
A private graveside service will be held at Richmondville Rural Cemetery, Richmondville, NY.
