Ernest J. Romberg, Jr., 70, died Thursday October 8, 2009 at the Palatine Nursing Home in Palatine Bridge, NY, where he had resided since 2008.
Mr. Romberg was born on May 5, 1939 in Manhattan, NY, a son of the late
Mary (Lochli) and Ernest J. Romberg, Sr.
He was a licensed electrician by trade and worked for the Union in New York City.
He enjoyed hunting.
Mr. Romberg was predeceased by his brothers, Frederick Romberg and Andrew Romberg.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph Romberg of Middleburgh, NY, niece, Kathryn Romberg and nephew Joseph Romberg both of Middleburgh, NY, nephew, Frederick Romberg of Los Angeles, CA., nephew ,Thomas Romberg of Baltimore, MD. and his longtime companion, Janet Fierro of Schoharie, NY.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place at the Vale Crematory in Schenectady, NY.
