Nasevich Funeral Home was established in the "Northern Liberties" section of Philadelphia by the late Michael F. Nasevich in 1919, who, with his wife the late Mary Panasoska Nasevich, conducted the Funeral Home until his death in 1946. Mary Nasevich continued the Funeral Home service, and was joined by her son, Michael E. Nasevich, in 1949, after his service in the US Navy during WWII.
In 1959, Michael and his wife, Anne Duranowsky, both licensed Funeral Directors, established a new location at 109 E. Tabor Rd, in North Philadelphia.
Recently, as of July 2006 Nasevich Funeral Homes acquired Fletcher Funeral Home, 9529 Bustleton Avenue, Philadlephia, Pa 19115 (Northeast Philadelphia)to become Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Homes. The Tabor Road location has been closed and our Franklin Street facility remains open.
Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Homes are family owned and operated, and remain comitted to providing distinquished personalized service to families during most stressful times.
