Nasevich Funeral Home was established in the "Northern Liberties" section of Philadelphia by the late Michael F. Nasevich in 1919, who, with his wife the late Mary Panasoska Nasevich, conducted the Funeral Home until his death in 1946. Mary Nasevich continued the Funeral Home service, and was joined by her son, Michael E. Nasevich, in 1949, after his service in the US Navy during WWII.
In 1959, Michael and his wife, Anne Duranowsky, both licensed Funeral Directors, established a new location at 109 E. Tabor Rd, in North Philadelphia.
