| | | Hazel L. Baugh, 88, Martinsville, died at 8:35 a.m. July 17, 2007, at her residence.
Born Nov. 14, 1918, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Kerr) Cole.
She was the widow of Carl Baugh, whom she married Oct. 5, 1940. He died March 25, 1992.
She retired in May 1987 after 35 years of service from the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville, where she had been manager of the cafeteria. She worked at Smith Elementary, East Middle and Martinsville High Schools.
She enjoyed working in her yard and cooking.
Other survivors include a son, Ronald Lee Baugh of Martinsville; three sisters, Heneritta Wright, Freeda Stansifer and Joan Shields, all of Bloomington and two grandsons, Brent and Christapher Baugh.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Cox.
The service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Nebo Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Visiting hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Neal & Summers Mortuary in Martinsville.
Entombment will be in Nebo Memorial Park Mausoleum.
