| | | C. Arthur Berry, 87, of Martinsville, died at 9:58 p.m. on Thursday, May 8th, 2008 at the Friendship Healthcare Center in Indianapolis.
He was born on February 5, 1921 in Owen County, Indiana, to the late Howard and Irene (Collier) Berry.
On September 12, 1969 he married Sadie L. (Montgomery) Berry. She preceded him in death on July 29, 1998.
Mr. Berry was a real estate investor and contractor for over 40 years in the Martinsville area.
He was a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Martinsville.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Berry of Martinsville and Leo Berry of Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren, Clark Berry and Gail Smith; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, Wilbert Berry.
Friends may call on Sunday, May 11th from 4:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Neal & Summers Mortuary and from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12th at the church. Rev. Bob Weimer will officiate a celebration of life service on Monday, May 12th at 1:00 p.m. at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 140 E. Poston Road, Martinsville. Burial will follow in Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery.
