| | | Gary E. Beckman, 54, Martinsville, died at 4:37 a.m. May 19, 2008, at Morgan Hospital and Medical Center in Martinsville.
Born May 8, 1954, in Stinesville, he was the son of the late James and Betty (Baker) Beckman.
He married Elizabeth A. (Hamilton) Beckman on Jan. 26, 2001. She survives in Martinsville.
He was employed in maintenance by Schulte Inc. in
Bloomington, retiring in November of 2007.
He was a member of the Martinsville Moose Lodge.
He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.
Other survivors include a son, Michael Beckman; four daughters, Nancy Raddatz, Cristal Aultman and Savannah Beckman, all of Okeechobee, Fla. and Betty Beckman of Martinsville; three brothers, Jim Beckman of Ellettsville and Dan and Terry Beckman, both of Gosport; two sisters,
Connie Headdy of Ellettsville and Mary Lynn Pointer of Bloomington, and 10 grandchildren.
The service will be 7 p.m. Friday at Neal and Summers Mortuary in Martinsville. Visiting hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
There will be no burial. The body will be cremated.
