| | | Pauline V. Amos, 86, Franklin and a former Martinsville resident, died at 3:37 p.m. on Jan. 9, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital & Health Center in Beech Grove.
Born July 10, 1919, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Gray and Cora (Goss) Gray. She married Paul Amos on Sept. 22, 1973. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2005.
She retired from First National Bank in Indianapolis, where she worked in accounting.
She was a member of the National Society of Genealogy. She enjoyed geneology, working crossword puzzles and flower gardening.
She was a graduate of Bloomington High School.
She is survived by several step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Phoebe Blackwell; a brother, Paul Gray, and a sister, Augusta Gray.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at Neal & Summers Mortuary in Martinsville. Pastor Roger Stephens will officiate.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the time of the service on Friday at the mortuary.
