| | | Judy E. Alexander, 45, died at 9 p.m. Jan. 12, 2006, at her residence.
The daughter of the late Henry Mattingly and Betty (Abbott) Chaney, she was born Aug. 19, 1960, in Franklin. Her husband, Dale R. Alexander, whom she married April 8, 1978, survives.
Alexander worked at the Red Oak Greenhouse in Red Oak, Iowa, and Oakland Foods in Oakland, Iowa.
She attended Franklin High School.
She loved her family, sewing, cleaning house and cooking.
Other survivors include two sons, Steven Mattingly, Independence, Mo., and Richard Alexander, Martinsville; daughter, Crystal Alexander, Martinsville; four sisters, Cindy Branson, Vicky Tanner and Katrina Hash, all of Franklin, and Debbie Harris, Bargersville, and five grandchildren, Steve and Natasha Mattingly, Olivia and Mason Van Houten, and Logan Alexander.
A brother, Johnny Mattingly, also preceded her in death.
The service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006, at Neal & Summers Mortuary in Martinsville. The Rev. Pat Davis will officiate. The body will be cremated.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of the service Tuesday at the mortuary.
