Dolores K. Bachle, 72, Martinsville, died at 5:55 a.m. Feb. 22, 2005, at Morgan Hospital & Medical Center in Martinsville.
The daughter of the late William Walker and Stella Opal (Williams) Shank, she was born May 13, 1933, in Charleston, W.Va. Her husband, Alfred H. Bachle, whom she married Sept. 18, 1967, survives in Martinsville.
Bachle was a teacher at Island Christian School in Islamorada, Fla.
She was a graduate of Charleston High School and attended the University of Kentucky and a member of First Baptist Church in Hammond, Ind., where she taught Sunday school.
Other survivors include three daughters, Denise Duncan, Martinsville; Dawn Norvell, Hiwassee, Ark., and Nicole Docks, Detroit, Mich, and five grandchildren, Nick and Ali Duncan, and Sarah, Jacob and Sammy Docks.
A son, Alfred H. “Woody” Bachle Jr., also preceded her in death.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery in Martinsville. The Rev. Mark Suter will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
