| | | Friend Sonny Armstrong, 69, of Martinsville died on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at The Waters of Martinsville.
He was born December 5, 1936 in Pittsburg, Mississippi to the late John W. and Glenda(Murry) Armstrong.
The retired carpenter was survived by a longtime companion, Della Armstrong, of Martinsville; daughter, Beth Parsons, of Martinsville; 3 step-sons, Jeryl White of Paragon, David White of Linton, IN and Elmer "Junior" Parsons of Martinsville; 8 Step grandchildren, 16 Great Step Grandchildren and 1 Step Great Great Grandchild; 1 brother and 2 sisters.
He had lived in Martinsville since 1991 coming from Knightstown, Michigan and was a member of the Martinsville Moose Lodge #1127. He enjoyed playing euchre, reading and working outdoors.
Rev. David Ferguson will conduct a graveside service on Monday, September 18th, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Nebo Memorial Park in Martinsville.
