| | | Ruth Ann Robinson, 71, a longtime resident of Martinsville, died at 5:00 PM on Saturday, August 8th, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Ruth Ann was born on November 21, 1937 in Morgan County, Indiana to the late Harold Otis and Ocea Pearl (David) Neal.
She was a graduate of Martinsville High School with the class of 1955 and a member of Eastview Christian Church in Martinsville.
She was a dedicated mother, wife and homemaker and in her spare time she enjoyed making crafts, painting, feeding and watching the birds, doll collecting and going to yard sales.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Keith Robinson, of Martinsville. They were married on August 4, 1956.
Other survivors include 2 sons, Denney (Debra) and Timothy Robinson both of Martinsville; 1 daughter, Beth Ann Robinson of Indianapolis; 2 sisters, Sharon Cramer and Roberta Neal both of Martinsville; 10 grandchildren, Derrik, Hans, Christian, Chad, Ryan and Courtney Robinson, Dawn Wilson, Dara Jackson, and Kristen and Mindy Melek; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Stephanie Jayne Robinson in 1987 and 1 sister, Iris Lee Williams.
Family and friends are encouraged to attend a graveside service celebrating Ruth Ann’s life on Tuesday, August 11th at 11:00 AM in Pleasant View Cemetery in Unionville, Monroe County, Indiana. Rev. Robert D. Yount will be officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center. Inquiries can be made to the funeral home at (765) 342-8439.
