| | | Lester E. Goss, 68, a resident of Martinsville died at his residence on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 9:05pm.
He was born July 6, 1941 in Paragon, IN to Howard & Genivieve (Stierwalt) Goss.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Iva E. (Crone) Goss, whom he married October 4, 1959. Also surviving are two sons; Chris (Sherry) Goss and Tim (Dawn) Goss both of Martinsville, one daughter; Penny (Jeff) Grounds, two brothers, six grandchildren; Josh, Michael & Dylan Goss & Jesse, Nickale and Jocee Grounds, one great granddaughter; Isabella Goss and eight step grandchildren.
Mr. Goss was retired. He spent most of his life as a tool maker, working for several different machine shops and he was also a cabinet maker and owned and operated Goss Cabinet & Box.
He was a Martinsville High School Graduate with the Class of 1959.
Friends may visit Tuesday, Aug. 11th from 5-8 pm and Wednesday, Aug. 12th from 9 am until service time at Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center. A celebration of life service will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Friendship Park Cemetery in Paragon, IN.
