| | | Anthony Wayne “Tony” Richardson, 23, of Martinsville died suddenly on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 5:45 PM at the Morgan Hospital & Medical Center.
Tony was born on November 30, 1985 in Martinsville to Kenneth L. “Kong” Richardson and Pamela Sue Blunk.
He was a cook at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Martinsville and enjoyed fishing, playing baseball and especially spending time with his son, Julian.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Kenneth L. and Geneva (Cooper) Richardson of Martinsville; mother and step-father, Pamela S. (Blunk) and Thomas Martin of Paragon; son, Julian Richardson of Martinsville; fiancé, Melissa Quimby of Martinsville; paternal grandparents, Wanda Richardson and Ray & Christene Cooper all of Paragon; and four brothers, Danny Lane of Paragon, Travis Lane, Courtney Rice and Brian Fleener all of Martinsville.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Rev. Kenneth Richardson and maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Elnora Blunk.
Family and friends are encouraged to visit on Monday, August 31, 2009 from 5-8:00 PM at Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center. Rev. Steve Adams will conduct a graveside service on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Browns Crossing.
