Robert “Mike” Nutter, 59, a resident of Martinsville, IN died at his residence on October 25, 2009.

He was born June 13, 1950 in Kokomo, IN to Harry & Barbara (Chism) Nutter.

On June 30, 1979 he married Donna M. (Preston) Nutter; she survives,living in Martinsville, IN.

He also leaves behind his father, Harry Nutter of Richmond, IN; son, Brandon Nutter of Santa Clara, CA and sister, Terry Runnels of Richmond, IN.

Mr. Nutter worked as an Electrician for Indianapolis Electric IEC, Indianapolis, IN. His memberships include, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Elks Lodge #1349, where he served as Secretary and past Exalted Ruler and he was a member of the VFW Post #230.

He was a Richmond High School Graduate and served in the US Army from June 30, 1969 to Jan. 3, 1971. He enjoyed fellowship with his Elks Lodge family & friends.

Friends may visit Wednesday, October 28th from 5-8 PM and Thursday, October 29th one hour prior to service at Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center in Martinsville. A celebration of life service will begin Thursday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested contributions be made to the Elks National Foundation, 2750 N. Lakeview Ave., Chicago, IL 60614-2256. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.nealandsummers.com
